lol yesterday i finally talked to my mum about going to uni in america, and she totally shut me down.
oh well, fuck it. i’m still going to try to get in somewhere, cos if i do, she can’t stop me from going, lol.
it’s been my dream since like year 8 so yeah. let’s hope it happens.

those people who give you the feeling they hate you, even though there’s no reason why they should.

Saturday 30th September
Woke up at 2pm
Lay in bed coughing up my lungs for an hour
Did literally nothing for 3 hours
Talked to Danny who is a terrible person
Went to Joan’s house with Becky
Baked, ATAR calculated, did a practice SAT
Came home and got pissed off lolol I should probably sleep now and wake up early to study or s/t but ceebs.

Yah, I have now come to terms with the fact my dreams of going to Uni on America have been crushed.
I guess it was wrong of me to put you on a pedestal in the first place, but those times were fun.
I liked the fact I got so used to hearing your voice for hours at a time that I felt sad and empty when I didn’t. But I guess that was stupid of me too.

Slept in and got ready in a massive rush
Rejected Kim and Mel’s hugs cos I was saving first hug for Paolo
Saw everyone and handed out my funny little bracelet thingys
Went to 7/11 with Michael to subdue my slurpee craving
Found the park everyone was at, did the awkward introductions and mucked around
Performed the usual rituals with Michael

If there’s one thing I really don’t like to think about, it would have to be all the bad decisions I’ve made in the past, particularly those relating to school and subject selection.
I feel so stupid for letting my personal life get in the way of my grades last year.
I’m also angry at my school for making a good half of the decisions that will affect my future for me.

So last night was Macrob year 11 Formal, and it was really, really lovely.
